Below is one of the images in the State Library’s collection that relates to an Aboriginal community on the George’s River.

Aboriginal workers from the Holt Sutherland Estate, near Dolls Point on the Georges River, in about 1880. The photo shows Biddy Giles, Joe Brown and Jimmy Lowndes (standing), with Jim Brown and Joey Tuckambool (seated at front).
