Word of the week: Be-ral-lee

Our word of the week is Be-ral-lee.

 

 

According to ’The Warkon tribal dialects - L.R. Schwennesen. Vocabulary of aboriginal dialects of Queensland, by Harriott Barlow’, no date Be-ral-lee means “child”.

According to the David R Horton map, Be-ral-lee most likely originated from the Yuwaalaraay Language group.
