To celebrate Corroboree and Aboriginal Sydney, the State Library of New South Wales is running lunch time screenings of Redfern Now every as part of the Corroboree festival in the Metcalfe Auditorium. 

You can also join the stars of the show at one of the Redfern Conversations Now talks being held at the Library on Friday 21 November and Tuesday 25 November at 1pm. Speak to the cast and crew about what it was like behind the scenes and learn how the series came to be created.

Redfern Now explores contemporary inner city Indigenous life. These powerful, moving, funny, bitter sweet stories centre on a diverse group of individuals exploring their strength, flaws and resilience. Over six episodes we join the households of six different families whose lives are changed by a moment’s decision, an accident, or a seemingly insignificant incident. It is a series about extraordinary events in ordinary lives.
